Had you practiced yoga before coming to Thavma Yoga Lakewood Ranch? If so, what other Styles of Yoga had you practiced?
I had never practiced yoga prior to attending Thavma.
Why did you decide to do Thavma Yoga’s 100-day challenge and what did you want to accomplish? Did you achieve your goal?
I loved being in the hot room so much that I felt it would be fun to challenge myself and see how quickly I could complete 100 classes.
What changes did you see during and after your 100 days of consecutive Thavma Yoga?
I saw changes in how toned my body was and felt it in my overall endurance and flexibility.
What did you learn/gain from doing Hot Yoga regularly?
By doing 100 classes in 2 months, I learned to show up both mentally and physically for myself every day. I found that the days I didn’t want to go were usually the days I needed it the most.
What did you love most about the Challenge?
I loved seeing a lot of the same faces everyday and the constant support from everyone at Thavma. I also loved the feeling of accomplishment after my 100th class.
Do you have a favorite posture, if so what is it?
My favorite posture is standing bow because it’s something I am constantly working to better and forces me to really pay attention to my body and what it’s doing.
What do you love the most about Thavma Yoga?
My favorite thing about Thavma is the incredible community. Everyone is so warm and welcoming. It really is a family.
